A Comfortable, Cohesive Space with Thoughtful Details

A bathroom doesn’t have to be connected to a bedroom to feel like a personal retreat.

Rodney’s hall bathroom serves as his everyday bathroom while also remaining accessible to guests when needed. The remodel brought together a fresh combination of cabinetry, quartz, tile, fixtures, and thoughtful comfort features to create a space that feels polished, comfortable, and easy to use.

And because this is a hallway bathroom rather than a completely private en suite, the design needed to balance everyday function with a welcoming, finished look.

Warm Cabinetry Meets Marble-Inspired Surfaces

The vanity establishes a warm foundation for the room with Adeline Designer Cabinets’ Haven collection in Ember.

The rich Ember finish brings warmth and depth to the space, while Jeffrey Alexander Jules cabinet hardware in polished chrome adds a clean metallic accent. The combination keeps the cabinetry feeling substantial without making the room feel heavy.

Above the vanity, VICOSTONE’s Exotic Collection Statuario quartz creates a dramatic countertop surface with the look of natural stone and the durability of quartz.

The polished chrome continues at the sink with a Moen Genta two-handle widespread bathroom faucet, while a Kohler Ladena undermount sink keeps the countertop profile clean and streamlined.

Together, the warm cabinetry, stone-inspired quartz, white sink, and polished chrome create a combination that feels both classic and current.

A Shower Designed for Everyday Comfort

The shower is another place where appearance and function come together.

A Fleurco ADQ Quad Base provides the foundation with a clean white 32″ x 60″ rectangular shower base. Above it, an HMI Glass heavy-glass swing door keeps the shower enclosure feeling open while adding a substantial, polished look.

The walls feature Virginia Tile’s Gleam Calacatta in a 12″ x 24″ format. The tile combines a marble-inspired appearance with both matte and textured finishes, adding visual depth without requiring an overly complicated pattern.

Inside the shower, Moen Verso brings together a multifunction showerhead and hand shower for flexibility. The Moen Chateau shower faucet keeps the controls straightforward, while Moen Home Care seat adds another layer of comfort and accessibility.

A fold-down shower seat provides a convenient place to sit when desired and folds neatly away when not in use. Two Moen Eva grab bars, in 18-inch and 24-inch lengths, provide additional stability and support while coordinating naturally with the polished chrome fixtures.

These features don’t have to announce themselves as “accessibility features.” They’re simply smart additions that give the people using the bathroom more choices.

Details That Make the Space Work

One of the things we love about a bathroom remodel is how much impact can come from the details.

A Schluter Systems Design-Niche in Matte White provides dedicated shower storage while keeping bottles and bathing essentials organized and off the floor. Schluter Jolly Edge trim in Greige gives the tile installation a clean finished edge and introduces a subtle variation from the brighter white surfaces elsewhere in the room.

At the vanity, a Kohler Verdera 33-inch lighted mirror combines illumination and reflection in one streamlined feature, while a coordinating Verdera medicine cabinet adds additional storage without taking up valuable floor space.

Even the room’s ventilation was considered, with a Panasonic WhisperCeiling DC 110 CFM bathroom exhaust fan providing quiet, effective ventilation.

A Hall Bathroom That Feels Personal

Because Rodney’s bathroom is part of the home’s hallway rather than a private en suite, it needed to serve more than one purpose.

It needed to feel comfortable for everyday use, practical when guests use it, and cohesive with the surrounding home.

The warm Ember cabinetry provides character. The Statuario quartz adds a dramatic focal point. The Calacatta tile brings the stone-inspired look into the shower. Polished chrome fixtures and hardware tie the various elements together, while the shower seat, grab bars, hand shower, and thoughtfully planned storage add flexibility to the room.

The result is a bathroom that doesn’t feel defined by any single feature.

Instead, everything works together to create a space that feels intentional, comfortable, and complete.

Because good bathroom design isn’t just about how a room looks when it’s finished.

It’s about how naturally it works every day.

Beautiful spaces should work beautifully, too.

Making your town beautiful—one home at a time. 💙
