Established in the vibrant Spring of 2005, our story at Tinley Park Kitchen and Bath Shoppe began with a vision: to redefine the standard of excellence in kitchen and bath design. Founded by industry luminary John Cancialosi, a seasoned veteran with over 15 years of invaluable experience in the field, our store emerged as a beacon of innovation and customer-centric ethos.

Driven by a profound commitment to delivering unparalleled service and craftsmanship, John’s decision to transition from a pivotal role in a local retailer’s cabinet business to the helm of his own establishment was a natural progression. With a fervent belief that customers deserve nothing but the best, every facet of our operation—from conceptualization to execution and post-installation service—reflects this unwavering dedication.

Nestled within Chicagoland’s sprawling landscape, our expansive showroom spans an impressive 6000 square feet, serving as a testament to our unwavering commitment to meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations. Thoughtfully curated to cater to diverse design preferences and practical needs, our showroom is a veritable treasure trove of inspiration, boasting a myriad of design concepts and products that seamlessly marry aesthetics with functionality.

At Tinley Park Kitchen and Bath Shoppe, quality reigns supreme. We meticulously curate our product offerings, hand-selecting only the finest materials and partnering with esteemed vendors who share our unwavering commitment to excellence. Whether it’s cabinets, countertops, sinks, or hardware, every item in our collection is chosen with utmost care, ensuring not only aesthetic appeal but also long-term performance and durability.

Driven by a passion for turning ordinary spaces into extraordinary showcases, our team of experts specializes in transforming visions into reality. With an unparalleled depth of knowledge and expertise in every facet of kitchen and bath design, we pride ourselves on our ability to elevate the ordinary to the extraordinary, making every room in your home a true reflection of your unique style and personality.

Geoff Stratton

“The last 18 years working at Tinley Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe is the first time I’ve had the ability to take a job from start to finish. I like that the company took that direction, giving us the opportunity to work with our teams of craftsmen who can take our designs and turn them into our customer’s dreams.” Geoff Stratton started with Tinley Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe at the very beginning. He had worked with John for many years prior and John knew that Geoff would be an integral part of the team.

Geoff brings several decades of experience to the table. having worked in the industry in one form or another since 1982.  His passion in kitchen and bath design is in taking the basic design and adding the bells and whistles that make it special. Julio Villarreal

“Working here feels like living my own version of HGTV, where creativity knows no bounds. Beyond my role, I channel my love for craftsmanship by crafting custom furniture and cabinetry on the side, ensuring every piece tells a unique story. From concept to creation, I thrive on bringing spaces to life, one design at a time.” As a passionate Kitchen and Bath Designer at Tinley Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe for the past seven years, Julio has had the privilege of turning dreams into reality with each project.

His passion for designing can be traced back to his high school days of drafting and woodworking and as an adult he moved on to designing and building custom furniture. He enjoys the hands-on remodeling experience that has allowed him to help his customers understand the design/build process.  “I enjoy the journey my customers and I take from the beginning of their project to the end.”

John Cancialosi

Our original owner and founder, the leading kitchen and bath designer, John Cancialosi. After 15 years of helping establish a local retailer’s cabinet business, John decided that he’d be able to better offer customers what they deserve by opening his own store. This dedication to the customer is apparent in everything from the design stage to the installation to the follow up service.

John carefully selected each vendor the store works with to help ensure client satisfaction. John is now semi-retired, but still available for a remodel design or two once in a while. Call to set up an appointment with him, as his hours are by appointment only.

Vicki Cancialosi

“It’s safe to say that I couldn’t have done this without the help and generosity of my wife (Vicki) and my brothers and sisters,” Cancialosi said.

Vicki was originally employed full time at a Thornton company, but she joined John at the shop shortly after the Grand Opening in 2005. And its a been a wild ride ever since. She kept the office running in the background, and was always there to lend a hand and ensure we had success stories to share.

Vicki is now semi-retired, but always around the shop to say hello and great customers when she’s got a moment or two to spare!
