The team at the heart of Tinley Park Kitchen and Bath Shoppe

Since opening our doors in the vibrant spring of 2005, Tinley Park Kitchen and Bath Shoppe has been driven by a clear purpose: to raise the bar in kitchen and bath design throughout Chicagoland.

Founded by John Cancialosi—a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience—our business was built on the belief that every customer deserves the best in service, craftsmanship, and care. After years leading a local cabinet retailer’s operations, John set out to create a space where quality and customer experience were never compromised.

Our 6,000-square-foot showroom reflects that vision. Thoughtfully curated and constantly evolving, it’s filled with real-world inspiration for homeowners seeking both beauty and function. From full kitchen and bath displays to carefully selected materials and finishes, every inch is designed to spark ideas and confidence.

What sets us apart? Our team. More than just designers or contractors, we’re experienced professionals passionate about helping you turn your house into a home you love. With deep product knowledge, creative expertise, and a commitment to getting the details right, we walk with you from concept to completion—and beyond.

At Tinley Park Kitchen and Bath Shoppe, quality isn’t a buzzword—it’s a standard. We partner with trusted vendors, handpick every product line, and focus on materials that look beautiful and perform for years to come.

Whether you’re remodeling a single bathroom or designing your dream kitchen from the ground up, our team is here to guide, inspire, and deliver.

The Good Boy
Greeting Committee

Say hello to Tucker, Hamilton, and Solo—our four-legged greeters and official bringers of joy. They may announce your arrival with a bark or two, but it’s all in the name of hospitality (and tail wags).

Stop by during their shop hours and you’re likely to be met with enthusiastic hellos and hopeful puppy eyes. Feel free to offer a scratch behind the ears—and if they’re on their best behavior, you can “tip” them using the treat jars located at each entrance. It’s their favorite perk of the job.

Ryan Hargraves – The Next Generation Owner

I am a strong believer in the idea of being a trusted adviser for our clients. We earn trust by listening to customers and treating every project as if it was in our own homes. When John asked me to take a larger role in the business, my goals were to carry on his successful legacy and to live by TPKBS’ tagline of ‘Making your town beautiful, one home at a time’. John made the transition easy with the solid foundation, processes, and team he built at TPKBS. We encourage customer questions and feedback; they help you understand the process and they help us focus on continuous improvement.

Ryan Hargraves

When John Cancialosi settled down to retire, he sold the business to his son-in-law Ryan Hargraves to not only keep the business in the family, but to also keep the standard Tinley Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe is known for!

Ryan is a big supporter of community. He currently serves as a Director on the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce.

Geoff Stratton – Senior Designer and Sales Representative

I had Tinley K&B update my master bathroom. I worked with Geoff. We met many many times to make decisions and there were soooo many. Geoff was so kind and patient with me. He made excellent suggestions and it turned out beautiful… I had a wonderful experience with Tinley kitchen, and Bath. I would highly recommend them and I couldn’t be happier.

Debbie C.’s Google Review

The last 18 years working at Tinley Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe is the first time I’ve had the ability to take a job from start to finish. I like that the company took that direction, giving us the opportunity to work with our teams of craftsmen who can take our designs and turn them into our customer’s dreams.” Geoff Stratton started with Tinley Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe at the very beginning. He had worked with John for many years prior and John knew that Geoff would be an integral part of the team.

Geoff brings several decades of experience to the table. having worked in the industry in one form or another since 1982.  His passion in kitchen and bath design is in taking the basic design and adding the bells and whistles that make it special. He has specialized in millwork and cabinetry since the late eighties.

Julio Villarreal Jr. – Designer and Sales Representative

I worked with Julio to help with new vanities and granite tops for our bathroom remodel. He provided outstanding customer service and offered great suggestions given his experiences.
If Julio was out when I called with questions, or needed assistance, his colleagues were able to respond to my needs right away.
The prices for the products are very good and better than other local competitors for the high quality items they offer.
I highly recommend Tinley Park Kitchen and Bath. This business is a hidden jewel in the south suburbs.

Joe T.’s Yelp Review

“Working here feels like living my own version of HGTV, where creativity knows no bounds. Beyond my role, I channel my love for craftsmanship by crafting custom furniture and cabinetry on the side, ensuring every piece tells a unique story. From concept to creation, I thrive on bringing spaces to life, one design at a time.” As a passionate Kitchen and Bath Designer at Tinley Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe for the past seven years, Julio has had the privilege of turning dreams into reality with each project.

His passion for designing can be traced back to his high school days of drafting and woodworking and as an adult he moved on to designing and building custom furniture. He enjoys the hands-on remodeling experience that has allowed him to help his customers understand the design/build process.  “I enjoy the journey my customers and I take from the beginning of their project to the end.”

Heather Ekanem – Designer and Sales Representative

This is the GREATEST team ever! Great collaboration and customer service.
My bathroom project went well from the inception through completion. It began with an excellent Designer Heather who is skilled in her craft. We chose patterns, colors, designs, etc. The ordering and management went according to schedule. This a one-stop shop from beautiful cabinetry, tile, accessories—to coordination and installation.
Most importantly, there was ongoing communication to ensure no surprises or cost overruns occurred.
They get at A++. Well done!

Michael Huckaby – Designer and Sales Representative

The people behind Tinley Park Kitchen and Bath Shoppe

“I’ve been working in kitchen and bath design for about five years, with experience at both Menards and Von Tobel. Along the way, I’ve also developed a background in appliances and electrical — which gives me a broader understanding of how all the pieces come together in a space.

“While I’m newer to the design field, I stay up to date with current and emerging trends. I’ve had the chance to see cabinetry built firsthand — and even crafted one myself — so I truly appreciate the detail and craftsmanship that goes into creating a dream kitchen or bath.

“My goal is to help you bring your vision to life, whether that means choosing the perfect cabinets, selecting a beautiful quartz countertop, or finishing your space with the right tile.

“If you’re ready to take the next step in your remodel, come visit us at Tinley Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe. I can’t wait to help design your dream.”
