Every room in a home deserves thoughtful design—including the guest bathroom.
For Laura’s guest bath, the goal was to create a space that feels welcoming, stylish, and timeless for family and friends alike. While every detail came together beautifully, there was one feature that stood out above the rest.
When asked about her favorite part of the finished remodel, Laura’s answer was immediate: the tilework.
Throughout the space, carefully selected tile creates warmth, texture, and personality. Large-format Cinder Ivory floor tile from Virginia Tile provides a clean and sophisticated foundation, while glossy Artcrafted wall tile from Daltile brings handcrafted character and subtle movement to the room. The combination creates a space that feels both classic and inviting.
Thoughtful details elevate the design even further, including a built-in shower niche that offers convenient storage while maintaining a clean, seamless appearance. Coordinating grout and Schluter trim complete the installation, giving the entire space a polished and finished look.
To complement the tile selections, we incorporated custom Bertch cabinetry in the Walker Doorstyle, Birch wood, in a beautiful Shale finish. Quartz countertops in Vicostone’s Luna Plena add durability and elegance, while polished chrome fixtures from the Moen Voss collection provide a bright, classic finishing touch.
The result is a guest bathroom that is functional, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details—proof that even smaller spaces can make a big impact.
At Tinley Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe, we believe beautiful spaces are created when every element works together, from the cabinetry and countertops to the finishing touches that make a room truly special. And in this guest bathroom, it’s the tilework that brings it all together.
